Service Description

The options of jewelry making with glass and wire are vast. Over 13 years of experimentation I've found some things that work well and I'd like to share with people interested in glass and jewelry. In this workshop we get right to work forming silver to embed between layers of Glass that will be fused in a kiln. Students will have unique handmade glass pendants after firing or forged wire work to take home the day of the workshop if their interest is working with wire. Small wire sculpture is an option to work on as well. Work with wire only for $25.00 Beginners welcome all materials provided. We start with forming a silver bail to be embedded between the layers of glass, choose glass colors you like and work in some wire or other extras. Top with clear glass and it's ready to fire. Advance to etching dichroic glass and painting on glass with liquid glass.
